Epic Opportunities is seeking candidates to fill our Senior Manager  role in our dynamic team.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the fulfillment of Epic Opportunities vision, mission and values as they provide overall leadership of day to day services.  This position is responsible to ensure outcome oriented, person-centred services for people served by Epic Opportunities.  The Senior Manager will ensure that person directed services are in place and that regular person centred planning occurs for each person they serve.  They will monitor and evaluate the achievement of these outcomes and provide coaching and mentorship to the team responsible for these services. Some of the specific responsibilities also include hiring, providing orientation, training, and performance management.  In addition to these leadership requirements the Senior Manager will also perform administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll and financial responsibilities and is required to be on call Monday to Friday.

  • Ensure that all required financial documentation is completed and remitted in a timely manner, reporting discrepancies according to policy.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand the problem and respond to various situations.
  • A valid Manitoba Driver’s License and use of a personal vehicle is required.

Qualifications and experience we are looking for:

  • Degree in Social Sciences and /or Disability and Community Support Diploma is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory position related to services for persons living with an intellectual disability asset.
  • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.

The successful applicant will be asked to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and both a Child and Adult Abuse Registry check upon hire at their own expense.

Salary: $20.00- $21.75 hourly
