Employee Spotlight – Rudy Antonio

Our Employee Spotlight highlights the exceptional commitment and hard work of our team members who tirelessly cultivate a culture of inclusivity, promote self-advocacy, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Rudy has worked with us since 2002, primarily as a Direct Support Professional. He is a constant and reliable approach teammate and brings a person-centered approach to his work every day. We are thrilled to showcase Rudy in our Employee Spotlight. Here is his reflection on working with Epic Opportunities!

“Epic Opportunities is an organization that helps empower all people to live their lives in a meaningful way. The people we serve are important like you and me, and simply need some help to live their lives meaningfully. I love being helpful to the people we serve. I feel good when I see them included in our communities events. This has also shown me to see life in a more caring and profound way. During the time I have worked with EPIC I had the opportunity of working with a person who really impacted me. She taught me how to see people and how we can help them in a respectful way. That person is not with us anymore. Her caring example will always be with me. If someone wanted to work in this sector, I would tell them this field is for people who want to make a difference helping individuals, with all abilities, live a meaningful life.”
