Dare to Dream Spotlight: Meet Kelsey Sobiak
We are thrilled to introduce Kelsey Sobiak, the newest recipient of the Epic Opportunities Inspirations Scholarship Fund! It was a true honor to award Kelsey this scholarship during our Dare to Dream kickoff event. Even more exciting was her opportunity to share her inspiring story with our friends at Virgin Radio. It was an incredible day for someone truly deserving!
Kelsey Sobiak is a proactive and passionate self-starter dedicated to empowering individuals, particularly those with intellectual disabilities. Her strength and positivity inspire others to achieve independence and self-expression through hard work. Knowledgeable and resourceful in the disability support field, she leads by example, mentors peers, and showcases her cooking talents. We celebrate her accomplishments and the positive impact she has on her community. Congratulations, Kelsey, for being a true example of empowerment!
Last year, with the invaluable support of Judy Wasylycia-Leis, we fulfilled our long-standing dream of establishing our scholarship fund. In tribute to her late husband Ron, a dedicated advocate for inclusive communities, and inspired by her remarkable son Nick, whom Epic Opportunities is honored to assist, Judy proudly supported the Epic Opportunities Inspirations Scholarship Fund. This initiative is designed to empower individuals with disabilities to overcome challenges and realize their aspirations. Thank you, Judy, and everyone in the community! Every donation contributes to making beautiful dreams a reality. After all, we all deserve the chance to dream!
