People with disabilities make galas, workplaces, sporting events and everyday community experiences more joyful, meaningful and connected—not only as guests, but as valued contributors who bring energy, ideas, talent and connection.
Dreams begin with each person. Community surrounds those dreams with encouragement, opportunity and support. Together is where dreams begin.

We asked people supported by Epic what togetherness means to them. Their words remind us that togetherness can be found in friendship, acceptance, laughter and simply knowing someone is there.

Meet Katie—a determined athlete, proud mom and someone Epic Opportunities is honoured to support.
Through the Epic Inspirations Scholarship Fund, Katie received funding for the equipment and competition costs needed to pursue her powerlifting dream. At the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games, she achieved two personal bests and brought home three silver medals!
