Epic Inspirations Scholarship Fund OPEN AGAIN FOR SUBMISSIONS!

The Epic Inspirations scholarship fund was formed to empower the individuals we serve in their pursuit of goals. While everyone has aspirations, individuals living with disabilities can often face barriers such as accessibility and financial challenges. The Epic Opportunity Foundation is inspired to support these dreams, whether it’s horseback riding, a dream vacation, or attending film school.
How it works: Every year, we will invite applications from those we serve, allowing them to express their aspirations. Our Foundation board, in collaboration with community partners, will strive to fulfill as many dreams as possible. Currently, we plan to make approval decisions on a BI-ANNUAL basis and support will typically range from $100 to $500. We may also collaborate with community partners to achieve dream outcomes.
Timeline:
August 21 – Scholarship application opens
September 30 – Application deadline
Week of November 3rd – Applicants to be notified
Eligibility: To be eligible for a scholarship from the Epic Inspirations Scholarship Fund, applicants must submit their application at least two months before the anticipated expense. The following criteria must also be met:
- The applicant must be actively receiving support from Epic Opportunities.
- The applicant must have the funds and approval to cover expenses that exceed the amount requested.
- If required, based on personal support needs, the applicant must have approved staffing hours or other natural supports in place to participate in and fulfill their dream.
- Funds will go directly towards paying the costs of dreams proposed, as opposed to being given directly to the individual.
- The applicant must be willing to submit a final report after their dream has been fulfilled and provide an accounting of all expenditures related to the Epic Inspirations Scholarship Fund.
