Epic Opportunities is seeking candidates to fill our Senior Manager role in our dynamic team.

Senior Managers are responsible to provide leadership, training and supervision to Direct Support Professionals. This position is responsible to ensure outcome oriented, person-centred services for people served by Epic Opportunities. In addition to these leadership requirements the Senior Manager will also perform administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll and financial responsibilities and is required to be on call. They will monitor and evaluate the achievement of these outcomes and provide coaching and mentorship to the team responsible for these services. Some of the specific responsibilities also include hiring, providing orientation, training, and performance management.

- Ensure that all required financial documentation is completed and remitted in a timely manner, reporting discrepancies according to policy.

Qualifications and experience we are looking for:
- Degree in Social Sciences and /or Disability and Community Support Diploma is preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory position related to services for persons living with an intellectual disability is considered an asset.
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- A valid Manitoba Driver’s License and use of a personal vehicle is required.
- Able to provide three (3) references, preferably from direct supervisors
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, awareness and sensitivity to diverse cultures and traditions
- Current First Aid/CPR is considered an asset
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training is considered an asset
The successful applicant will be asked to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and both a Child and Adult Abuse Registry check upon hire at their own expense.
Salary: $20.00- $21.75 hourly
